OEM / ODM Service

OEM and ODM Services Overview

OEM and ODM manufacturing is a core part of our business. Under an OEM arrangement, we produce nail products exactly according to your designs, specifications and packaging requirements. Under an ODM arrangement, our in-house design and development team creates new styles, colorways, packaging concepts and complete product lines that you can brand as your own. Both models are supported by private label options, custom artwork, size and shape adjustments, and tailored packaging such as boxes, trays and hang tags.

Many of our wholesale customers start with a standard product and later move to custom development as their brand grows. Our goal is to make that transition smooth: the same factory, the same quality system, and a single team that manages both catalog sourcing and custom programs. You do not need to coordinate between multiple vendors for design, production and packaging — we handle the whole chain.

What Is the Difference Between OEM and ODM?

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing)

In an OEM project, you provide the design or specification, and we produce it. This model suits brands that already have clear designs, artwork or product specifications and need a reliable manufacturer to execute them. We review your files for manufacturability, confirm materials and processes, and produce to your approved samples. OEM gives you full control over the product while leveraging our production capabilities.

ODM (Original Design Manufacturing)

In an ODM project, we develop the product concept. Our design team proposes styles, colors, finishes and packaging based on your brand direction or market trend research, and you select and refine the concepts. This model suits buyers who want to launch new products quickly without maintaining an in-house design team. ODM is particularly useful for seasonal collections, where speed to market matters more than original design ownership.

Customization Options

  • Product Design: shapes, sizes, materials, finishes, colors and artwork for press-on nails, tips, stickers, decals, tools and kits.
  • Private Label Branding: your brand name and logo on products, boxes, trays, hang tags, inserts, stickers and seals.
  • Packaging Development: custom box structures, retail-ready display packaging, poly bags, blister packs and kit assembly.
  • Color and Finish Development: solid colors, gradients, cat-eye, French, glitter, chrome and custom print effects with reference codes and physical samples.
  • Size and Fit Programs: custom size charts, multi-size packs and fit adjustments for target markets.

Every customization option is confirmed in writing before production. We prepare clear specifications — including color codes, dimensions and material notes — so that both sides understand exactly what will be produced and how it will be verified.

Our ODM Development Process

  1. Briefing: you share your brand direction, target market, price point and any reference images. If you have no clear direction, we propose concepts based on current nail trends and your target channels.
  2. Concept and Design: our design team prepares product concepts, colorways and packaging directions for your review.
  3. Sampling: approved concepts move to sampling, and you receive physical samples for evaluation and approval.
  4. Specification Confirmation: materials, dimensions, artwork, packaging and quality criteria are confirmed in a written specification.
  5. Mass Production: production runs with in-process checks and final inspection, with progress updates at key milestones.
  6. Delivery and Support: goods are packed, inspected and shipped, and we remain available for reorders and product evolution.

This structured pipeline keeps custom projects predictable. You always know what stage your project is in, what decision is needed next, and what happens after you approve. For first-time buyers, we recommend starting with a small custom batch or a catalog product with private label packaging — this validates the relationship before larger commitments.

MOQ, Lead Time and Cost Considerations

Minimum order quantities vary with the level of customization. Standard catalog products generally have lower MOQs, while fully custom projects may require higher quantities to justify tooling, printing setup and packaging investment. During the quotation stage we explain which cost elements drive the MOQ — for example, custom packaging minimums or print setup fees — so that you understand the economics of your program.

Lead time depends on the project: standard items ship faster, while custom design, sampling and production take additional time. For seasonal collections we recommend confirming your launch dates early, and our team will work backward from your deadline to propose a realistic schedule. Where a tight deadline is critical, we will tell you honestly what is achievable rather than promising an impossible date.

Intellectual Property Protection

We understand that your designs and brand identity are valuable assets. Custom artwork, proprietary designs and brand files are handled with confidentiality, and we limit access to the team members involved in your project. We do not reuse a customer's exclusive design for other buyers without permission, and we can discuss confidentiality agreements where your program requires them.

For ODM concepts developed by our team, we clarify ownership terms during the project. In most cases, the concept becomes exclusive to your brand once selected, and we document the arrangement so that both sides have a clear record of what was agreed.

Why Buyers Choose Us for Custom Programs

  • One-stop execution: design, sampling, production, packaging and logistics under one team.
  • Factory-direct pricing: no intermediary margins, with transparent quotation breakdowns.
  • Consistent quality: the same three-stage quality system applied to custom orders.
  • Clear communication: written specifications, milestone updates and responsive support.
  • Scalable production: from trial batches to container programs as your brand grows.

Materials and Finishes We Work With

Custom programs can be built on the same material and finish options that make our catalog work. For press-on nails and tips, we work with gel, acrylic and soft-gel materials, and we can adjust thickness, flexibility and finish to match your target price point and customer expectations. Popular finishes include solid colors, gradients, cat-eye, French tips, glitter, chrome and matte, and we can combine finishes within a single design where production allows.

For stickers and decals, we select substrates and laminates based on the application — full-nail wraps need flexible, durable stock, while art decals may prioritize print clarity and adhesion. For tools and accessories, material selection focuses on durability and the feel of the finished product. During the briefing stage we review material options with you and recommend combinations that balance cost, performance and the experience you want your customers to have.

Quality Assurance for Custom Programs

Custom orders are produced under the same three-stage quality system as our catalog products: incoming material inspection, in-process checks and final product inspection. For custom programs, two points receive extra attention. First, color and print fidelity — custom artwork must match the approved sample, so we verify color references and print quality at multiple points. Second, kit completeness — custom kits are checked against the packing list so that every unit ships with the correct contents.

We recommend approving a physical sample before mass production for custom programs. The sample is your reference for color, size, finish and packaging, and it gives our production team a concrete target. Sample approval is documented in writing, which prevents disputes and keeps both sides aligned throughout the run.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we start with an existing product and brand it ourselves?

Yes. This is the most common starting point: you choose a catalog product, and we apply your private label branding and packaging. It gives you a branded product quickly with lower MOQ than a fully custom design.

Can you develop a completely new nail product for our brand?

Yes, through our ODM service. Share your brand direction and market goals, and our design team will propose concepts, develop samples and move to production once you approve.

What information do you need for an OEM quotation?

For OEM projects, please share your design or specification, target quantities, packaging requirements and any reference samples or images. The more complete the briefing, the more accurate the quotation and schedule.

How long does sampling take?

Sampling time depends on complexity. Standard samples are faster, while new shapes, colors or packaging structures may take longer. We confirm the sampling schedule when the project is briefed.

Can you keep our custom design exclusive?

Yes. We treat customer designs as confidential, limit internal access and do not share exclusive designs with other buyers. We can also discuss confidentiality arrangements for larger programs.

What is the typical timeline for an ODM seasonal collection?

Timelines depend on the number of designs and the complexity of production. A focused seasonal collection can typically be planned within a few weeks of development, sampling and production. We recommend briefing early and confirming launch dates so that the schedule is realistic.

Do you support custom kits and bundle assembly?

Yes. We can assemble custom kits — for example, press-on nail sets with tools, stickers and care cards — according to your packing list, with contents verified during final inspection.
